[Courses, Coaching and Beyond]

Q. We're a group of life-coaches and counselors who have been studying The Mentor's Spirit, Work as a Spiritual Path (audio), To Build The Life You Want... and we've used Holy Work as a discussion guide. Now, we're into Sometimes, Enough is Enough. We are inspired, as professionals, to help others "be all they can be" and wonder if Marsha Sinetar offers classes or sessions to helping professionals? Where is The Center? What are the requirements for studying at The Center or its founder?

We would love to attend in person events or ongoing programs to enlarge our awareness of how to (a) grow our practice(s) and (b) serve others to an increasing degree and (c) simply engage in dialogue with Marsha. Please advise.

A. Thank you for this inquiry, which represents a pattern of e-mail that The Center receives. To answer...

M.S. is away on a writing sabbatical. Plus... those of you who have read Sometimes, Enough is Enough or The Mentor's Spirit realize that contemplative life has its own routines.

As such, for the foreseeable future, (and to repeat)...

1. The Center is a virtual site (hint, hint, please re-read our Welcome page);

2. It will grow gradually, finding its footing online at first; and

3. Should courses and or some sort of classes start, that will happen through The Center -- online -- perhaps through interviews and written contributions of other educators and helping professionals who are well familiar with Sinetar's body of work. As is obvious already, a significant portion of The Center is educational, for example...

Our Q & A sections tends to address inquiries related to utilizing Sinetar books in a professional practice, while The Library's titles lend themselves to those who are serious researchers of contemplative classics.

As for entry requirements, nothing is fixed yet. It's likely The Center will gear itself (as it is already) to helping professionals. Courses will be based on Sinetar's body of work and probably limited to a wide spectrum of credentialed professionals -- educators, clergy, counselors and life-coaches, human resource professionals.

We trust this little overview helps, and appreciate every inquiry.
