[The Center & Membership] Q. What's the status of The Center? When can we visit? What sort of programs do you offer?
A. Per Web site, The Center is virtual and, of course, remains so until we locate and create a physical site. (Be assured, we'll announce that as soon as something hatches.) Our first Focus Group meeting was held this Fall, and contributed ideas for possible programs for members and identified enormous potential. As MS is on writing sabbatical and will conduct all such offerings herself, it may well be that only distance learning (audios, newsletters, etc.) will be offered.
Helping professionals already on our Member's email list will receive word (by email). Thanks for your interest in all of this.
Q. Not sure if I fit in or qualify! (i.e., I'm a teacher (or social worker, or physician or.... ) Does my background fit a leadership profile or what I might bring to the party? I've read all your work and use in the study groups that I teach.
A. "Advanced" in The Center's lexicon relates to consciousness. "Helping professional" means anyone qualified to teach or guide or counsel or minister to others. Qualified means trained and certified by university and/or state credential so as to be fitted, suitable, responsible to work/facilitate education, especially spiritual education, of self and others (e.g., a teacher, grade school through college; marriage, family counselors qualified to practice; minister or pastor and so on...).
