Just as God rested after he had created the original Garden, so our Garden invites all who visit to rest spiritually -- to mull over calming, aesthetic notions; to "meander" about; to reflect on how gardens of every sort were created to serve our healing (wholeness); to explore the relationship between a healing garden and prayer.
[The Center Site is All of A Piece] Guests from all over the world are beginning to visit. This is apparently a word of mouth happening because, as yet, we do not advertise. We hear that just one visit calms them down. An East Coast resident told us, "I feel better spending my coffee break at your site." And, after visiting, our corporate guests send their co-workers to stroll around.
Visitors have noticed that The Center site is all of a piece -- integrated in its sole purpose of exploring the benefits of contemplative living. The Library, The Garden links and even the Q & A sections are all designed to cultivate that "peace that passeth understanding."
Almost everyone has experienced spiritual comfort in aesthetic, natural spaces. All beautiful areas lead our thoughts into the meditative grateful state of the soul at rest. At such times, we know that everything good has been created expressly for us -- for our joy, our peace and provision.
