The Center-Library is now
collecting classic books on the contemplative life and the higher
reaches of spiritual consciousness. Many of these books have
become an endangered species, going out of print. The text we
collect celebrates the contemplative vocation, which summons
our founder. The Center-Library, its collection and archives
project is in its infancy, and is ongoing. We share our list
of holdings with visitors as these books can build understanding
of the wholeness, or spiritual completion, toward which people
everywhere strive.
In Sometimes,
Enough is Enough,
we read that the entire quality of life can be enhanced, shaped
by a deep spiritual encounter with contemplative prayer and the
contemplative life itself. This life is a way of being -- a consciousness
of eternal things, here and now.
